Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman was robbed of her unicycle.
The 31-year-old victim was riding the distinctive electric unicycle at the junction of York Road and Albert Road, Southend, at 6.25pm on Monday, November 23 when a man pushed her off and grabbed it.
He ran off down Albert Road.
The victim, from Southend, was unhurt but left shaken.
She had only had the unicycle for three weeks.
She said: "There are only 30 of this make and model in the country.
"It’s that rare, it will be easy to spot if it came up for sale.”
The unicycle’s mechanism means that when it tilts over, it makes a constant beeping noise, and this was set off when the robber stole it.
Investigating officer Dc Dan Hedges, of Southend CID, said: "It weighs 16kg so would not have gone far and would stand out like a sore thumb. "
The suspect was described as white, aged about 18 and of skinny build. He had stubble on his face and wore a black beanie hat, jacket and trousers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Dc Hedges on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
