A teenage girl was pushed to the ground and robbed of her Segway in Stanford.
The 14-year-old was riding the two-wheeled device along Abbotts Drive when a young man came up behind her, pushed her off the Segway, and ran off with it towards The Sorrells.
The incident happened just before 4.30pm on Monday, January 4.
The attacker is described as white, aged between 17 and 19-years-old, 5ft 7ins tall, of skinny build and was wearing a grey jacket or hooded top with the hood up.
He was also wearing blue jeans and a black scarf.
The girl suffered cuts and bruises as a result of being pushed off the Segway.
Anybody who witnessed the incident or who may have seen the suspect is asked to contact Dc Nicola Hadfield at Grays CID by calling 101.
