TWO teenage boys have been arrested after police were called to reports of a group trying to break into a Basildon house last night.
Officers were called to Hereford Walk shortly after 9.20pm.
Neighbourhood officers, including police dog Cesar and his handler, PC Graham Nuth, were called to the scene.
Following a foot chase, a 15-year-old boy from London and a 16-year-old boy from Stockport were arrested in Broadmayne, Basildon on suspicion of burglary at around 9.45pm.
They remain in custody.
Investigations are continuing and officers are appealing for anyone with information to call Essex Police on 101.
