Two robbers attacked a schoolboy and stole his mobile phone as he walked along a Canvey street.
The 16-year-old boy was assaulted from behind by two teenage boys on Furtherwick Road at about 10.30am on Thursday, June 16.
The boys then demanded he hand over his mobile phone.
During the robbery, the victim's shirt was ripped and he was left with minor injuries.
A number of members of the public were in the area at the time and could have witnessed the incident.
