Air ambulance lands in Wickford to "serious incident"
AN ELDERLY man has died after going into cardiac arrest in Wickford.
The ambulance service was called to Vista Road, where an elderly man had collapsed and was not breathing.
Two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance crew, ambulance officer and Herts Air Ambulance, which landed at Beauchamps High School, were dispatched at 9.15am.
They treated a man who was in cardiac arrest. Sadly, despite their best efforts, he died at the scene.
An ambulance spokesman said: "Our thoughts go out to his family and friends."
