A TV channel is appealing for Christmas messages.
Essex TV, the county's local channel, is inviting residents to take part in its Christmas programming for 2016, which will include a specially recorded message from the Lord Lieutenant of Essex, Lord Petre.
The channel is appealing to local businesses and individuals who have a special message, offer or event surrounding Christmas they would like to be filmed.
The channel is particularly interested in events that help to highlight the importance of the festive season and bring families and communities together.
Individuals from Braintree, Colchester, Harlow, Chelmsford, and Southend are invited to take part.
