A PROJECT to build Basildon’s first new council homes in three decades is now officially underway.
In Quendon Road, Basildon, four two-bedroom houses are being built on land where a disused children’s centre stood. Work is also underway to build four two bedroom homes on former garage sites in Victoria Road, Laindon, and three two bedroom homes in Rettendon Gardens, Wickford. due to be completed towards the end of 2017.
