POLICE officers, PCSOs, council officers and street pastors patrolled along Wickford’s High Street to give reassurance to residents.
PCSOs Ian Grant and Debbie Edwards, PC Marek Jaworski along with Rob Fortt, an antisocial behaviour officer at Basildon Council, and members of the street pastors were out in force last week.
Active citizen Sarah Keevil snapped them out on their patrol while they offered reassurance.
Phil Norton, street pastor co-ordinator, said: “They think that there has been some low-level antisocial behaviour, so it was a good time to get out there over the half-term holidays and show out faces. We chatted to a few people and gave some reassurance. It was a good thing to be a part of.”
