A FEMALE football team is set to travel across the world to take part in a competition.
Seevic Storm Women’s Football Academy will compete in a ten day football tour in Baltimore, USA. The students from Seevic College, in Kiln Road, Thundersley, will compete against a variety of high profile colleges and universities.
It is a great opportunity, with many of the girls looking for scholarships in America - with a number of scouts attending the games and giving them the chance to understand the level required.
Goalkeeper Jamie-Lee Bamford, 17, said: “I am really excited to go out to America. It is a great opportunity and hopefully I will be scouted for a scholarship to one of the colleges.”
