POLICE are appealing for information about a robbery after men approach woman at bus stop.
The incident happened in South Wash Road, Basildon, at around 1pm yesterday, Saturday, May 6.
The victim, a 64-year-old woman, from Basildon, was standing at a bus stop when three men approached her in a vehicle.
The men got out of the vehicle while the male driver remained in his seat before they approached the victim, took cash and grabbed her handbag off her and pushed her to the floor. They then attempted to take jewellery from her wrists, hands and neck.
The victim managed to fight the men off and they drove away from the scene with her ring.
The suspects are described as being white, aged in their early 20s, around 5ft 5ins tall, of a medium build and wore dark hoodies. The driver is described as being white.
