A SOUTH Essex College beauty student secured work experience on a feature film.
Ella Gosling, 17, from Hockley, studies Level 3 Fashion, Theatre and Media Hair and Make-up and worked on an indie film called Scales.
She secured the placement through her lecturer and acted as the make-up artist on the production. She had to do a mixture of special effects on the actors including cuts, scars, black eyes and tattoos.
Ella, from Hockley, said: “It was probably one of the best experiences of my life. I learnt so much about the industry and made so many close bonds with the whole team.
“The film takes place over the course of one evening and as we were filming for two weeks I had to learn to pay close attention to continuity and detail.”
