A RECYCLING team has been promoting its message to the community.
The Rochford-based team of volunteers was promoting recycling at the Great Wakering fete, which was held at Great Wakering Primary School on Saturday.
The team was set up a few weeks ago and has been supported by a company called Enventure, which specialises in supporting promotional campaigns for local authorities in the UK.
Along with Max, the Rochford recycling dragon, the team is telling the public of the benefits of recycling. They have been encouraging others to take part in the green alternative by giving away 100 per cent environmentally friendly rubbish bags and frisbees made of recycled plastic.
One member of the group, Craig Tubbs, 20, of Albert Road, Rochford, said: "To improve recycling in Essex, we must all work together.
"We need everyone to take part, recycling as much as they can as often as they can."
