Traffic lights out of action at busy Southend junction
Traffic lights at a busy junction in Southend have stopped working.
The Essex Travel Centre has reported that the traffic lights failed at about 11.30 this morning at the junction of A127 with Bridgewater Drive and Rayleigh Road
The long-running road works to extend the junction are in place and traffic is heavier than usual due to half term meaning the lights failure is causing added disruption.
Drivers are advised to avoid the area until the lights have been fixed.
