Southend's own Lee Mead gave a fantastic first night perfomance as Joseph in the West End.
I went on Friday with my husband, Simon, and we were just overwhelmed by the talent he has.
It was his first night and he must have been nervous - as anyone would be - but it didn't show, which I think just goes to show what a star he is.
He puts so much passion into his singing and acting, something you don't see that often.
I last saw Lee when he was about four years old and to see him on that stage and getting a standing ovation, twice, was quite something.
I work as a teaching assistant at his old junior school, Friars Primary, and we are doing Joseph as our leavers production.
We are so proud of you Lee.
Well done to Joan and Steve, his parents, too, for producing such great talent.
