Travellers representative Kathleen McCarthy, who we read about so much in the Echo, seems not to understand the meaning of the word illegal.
If I remember rightly she left a legal site and chose to go to Dale Farm of her own volition.
As for travellers demanding to be relocated together, all 400 of them, what gives them the right to demand anything?
If I or anyone else put a caravan on a field to reside in, we would be turfed off the next day.
Most ratepayers in the Basildon area are not racists, they just object to the way travellers get away with everything.
