Mark Stevens likes to march into Tescos, pay quickly then leave (July 9).
He complains about dawdling shoppers holding him up. He assumes other people have no life.
I have a life, Mr Stevens. I am not as mobile as I used to be, but there are lots of other things I could be doing; although obviously not as quickly as you.
I never leave my trolley in the middle of the aisle, but I walk slowly. You can't miss me. I'm the one with a stick!
People in a hurry try to rush past me, but I cannot manoeuvre as quickly as the able-bodied. Trying to move fast causes me pain.
I get "tutted" and am made to feel like a nuisance, but you chop and change your direction so quickly it is hard to get out of your way. Think, this could be you in the future.

...Mark Stevens is certainly an unusual shopper, who always knows what he wants and never stops to view the products on offer.
I can only say: Get a life! Tesco probably heaved a sigh of relief at his moving on to a better-behaved customer store.
