Anyone contemplating, like Nigel (Web Points, July 2), voting out Basildon's Angela Smith at the next general election, must be barking!
In Billericay probably, Thurrock, Laindon et al notwithstanding, such is the nature of political postcode tribalism.
I mean, just read the increasingly polarised web points from the likes of "Basildon Billy" and "Billericay Willy", whatever, and you'll get my drift.
Don't you just love the non-de-plumes they put out in these pages, they beat a staid signature any day I'll be bound.
