A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of drink-driving after crashing into three cars in Westcliff on Friday morning.
Police were called to reports of a crash involving a number of cars in Hamlet Court Road at 5.35am.
They arrived to discover a black Renault Clio that had crashed into three other cars parked along the road.
The police have confirmed that a 22-year-old man from Southend was arrested and taken into custody on suspicion of drink-driving.
They were alerted after residents of Hamlet Court Road heard a loud bang and woke to find the abandoned vehicle after it had crashed into the parked cars.
