Police appeal for woman's whereabouts following a theft
A woman threatened a member of staff with a knife after being caught attempting to shoplift.
A man and woman had entered the Co-op High Road, Benfleet, at 7.30pm on July 31 before stealing a number of items and threatening a staff member with a knife.
Police would like to talk to the woman in the CCTV image in connection with the incident at the Co-op store.
Anyone with information is asked to call Pc Hazel Rippingale at Basildon CID on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
