CONCORD Rangers booked their place in the fourth qualifying round of the FA Cup after securing a 3-0 win over Dorking Wanderers.

Amos Nasha gave the Beach Boys a first half lead before Steve Cawley and Jordan Cox completed the scoring in a nine minute spell in the second half.

Adam Flanagan’s side went into the tie having drawn with Hampton & Richmond Borough in the National League South last time out.

And although a last minute penalty denied them all three points in that encounter, Concord were not going to pass up the opportunity of notching a second win in their last three outings when Isthmian Premier League side Dorking visited the Aspect Arena.

Khale Da Costa tested visiting goalkeeper Harry Palmer early on, but Dorking came close to taking a sixth minute lead.

Tom Tolfrey cut inside before seeing his strike crash against the crossbar.

And the hosts were to take advantage of that miss as Concord broke the deadlock with 17 minutes on the clock.

Former West Ham United trainee Nasha was the first to react to a loose ball and the midfielder sent his effort into the roof of the net.

Cawley then forced Palmer into a diving save as the Beach Boys looked to double their lead.

But Dorking began to grow in confidence and nearly went in at the break on level terms.

Matthew Briggs pounced on a loose pass by Kyron Farrell and found Dan Pearse.

The midfielder sent a shot goalwards and Louis Wells pulled off an impressive save to preserve the Beach Boys’ advantage.

And that stop was to prove pivotal as Concord doubled their lead six minutes after the break.

Cawley had a shot blocked but was alert and sent the rebound into the back of the net.

Dorking were offered a way back into the tie six minutes later as the referee pointed to the spot, but Tolfrey sent his penalty over the crossbar.

And Cox rubbed salt in the Dorking wounds as his close range effort wrapped up the scoring just moments later.

Dorking went close to grabbing a consolation as James McShane hit the upright, with Wells beaten, but Concord were to claim their fourth clean sheet of the campaign.
