GENIE-US! Panto season is officially round the corner in Basildon and a whole new world of fun awaits..
The Towngate Theatre in St Martin's Square has officially launched its 2017/18 pantomime, Aladdin.
The panto will run from Tuesday November 28 to Tuesday January 2 and as usual will star Basildon favourite Simon Fielding who will be playing Wishee Washee and Sophie Ladds who will be taking on the baddie role of Aunty Banazar.
Of course, as expected, the show will be packed with music, a live band, dancing, laughs and high jinks, especially from pantomime dame Daniel Stockton who will be playing Widow Twankey.
