A man has been resuscitated by paramedics after going into cardiac arrest.
Four paramedic cars, two ambulances, one fire engine and the air ambulance were all called to Elizabeth Way, Laindon.
A spokesman from the ambulance service said: “We were called today at 7.50am to reports that someone was unconscious and not-breathing at property in Laindon.
Two ambulance crews, two rapid response vehicles, an ambulance officer, and the air ambulance from Essex and Herts Air Ambulance (EHAAT) were sent and treated a man who was in cardiac arrest.
"Following treatment at the scene, they resuscitated the patient who was taken by land ambulance to Basildon and Thurrock Hospital in a life-threatening condition.”
