Two people have been charged following an incident in Pleasant Road, Southend where a boy was stabbed.
Officers were called by the ambulance service at around 8.35am on Friday, November 17 after a 14 year-old boy suffered stab wounds to the chest and abdomen. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries and is in a stable condition.
Two people were arrested.
Lee Whyte, 35, of Parklands, Ufford, Woodbridge has been charged with wounding with intent and intimidating a witness.
A 17 year-old boy from Watford, who cannot be named for legal reasons has been charged with wounding with intent.
They are due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today (Monday, November 20).
