A nine-year-old girl is donating her hair for the Little Princess Trust.
Sophie Ferni had 11 inches of her hair cut at Vidgeon Hairdressers in London Road, Leigh.
Her mother, Mei, said: “Sophie is very happy with her new hair cut and look.
“She’s very happy to do this.
“She’s getting used to her hair’s new length. We have also set up a Just Giving page to raise more money for the trust to make more wigs for kids.
“Sophie got the idea after watching a documentary on children who are living with cancer. So far, we have £315. With cash donations, we’re close to £350.”
The Little Princess Trust will transform Sophie’s hair into wigs for children who have lost their hair through cancer. Visit justgiving.com/fundraising/sophia-littleprincesstrust
