A bomb which forced the closure of London City airport after being discovered nearby has been detonated off the coast of Shoebury.
The Second World War bomb had been due to be blown up yesterday, but poor weather conditions delayed the explosion.
However, divers from the Royal Navy carried out the detonation earlier today.
