London Southend Airport has created the World’s Largest Belgian Bun to celebrate its new route to Antwerp, in Belgium.

At more than one metre wide, the monster sized Belgian Bun created to celebrate the new route between London Southend Airport and Antwerp will be more than enough to keep the sweetest toothed passengers happy.

The gigantic, world beating bun stuffed full of sultanas and Tiptree Lemon Curd before being topped with fondant icing and cherries has been created by Tiptree Patisserie of Witham. It has taken weeks of practise runs to get the recipe just perfect, and a team of strong people to lift the bun into the perfect position to meet its public.
