Students on the travel and tourism course at Seevic College have benefited from the opportunity of working closely with leading airline company British Airways.
Over the past week a variety of activities have taken place to ensure the students have the best knowledge of the working world when leaving Seevic.
Students were giving the opportunity to go up to the British Airways Academy where they got the chance to go down the emergency slide, go into a smoke chamber and take part in a virtual unplanned emergency landing.
This gave the students the chance to see what responsibilities the staff members have and the level of training in which is required.
Chloe Hall, 16, who is currently studying level two travel and tourism, said: “The day was exciting and made me more determined to work for an airline.”
