Elderly cyclist flown to hospital after crash
An elderly cyclist was flown to a London hospital yesterday after being involved in a serious crash with a van.
The man, in his 70s, was rushed from the scene by the Essex & Herts Air Ambulance with life-threatening injuries after being involved in the incident with a Citroen van just before 10am yesterday (June 7) on London Road, Rawreth.
No arrests have been made and enquiries are ongoing.
Essex Police are appealing for witnesses, or anyone who may have CCTV or dashcam footage available to view, to call 101 and speak to the Serious Collision Investigation Unit quoting 337 of 07/06.
