Detectives are appealing for anyone to come forward with CCTV or dash cam footage following the murder of Tina Cantello.

Tina, 49, left her home in Basildon at 5pm on Friday June 8.

Her body was found just before 6pm on Saturday June 9 at a property in Derby Close, Langdon Hills.

Police would like to hear from anyone in the Derby Close or Durham Road areas of Basildon who may have CCTV or dash cam footage from between 5pm on Friday June 8 and 6pm on Saturday June 9 to come forward.

Det Chief Insp Martin Pasmore, said: “As we continue to piece together the last moments of Tina’s life, we are keen to hear from anyone who may have private CCTV cameras in in the Derby Close or Durham Road areas.

"It is possible you may have footage that could be of help to our investigation.

“We would equally like to hear from motorists from either road who may have captured dash cam footage.”

Geoffrey Hutton, 38, of Derby Close, Langdon Hills appeared at Basildon Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday June 12, where has been charged with murder.

He has been remanded in custody ahead of his appearance at Chelmsford Crown Court today, Wednesday June 13, and no plea has been entered.
