CHILDREN enjoyed a trip to Never Never Land during a Peter Pan-themed day at Hadleigh Castle Country Park.
Families were challenged to hunt through the maize maze collecting items from six costumed characters to win a prize.
Captain Hook, Smee and the hungry crocodile were all hiding along the pathways, ready to jump out and scare youngsters.
Peter Pan, Wendy and Nanna were also on hand to guide children in the right direction.
More than 500 people flocked to the event, off Chapel Lane. Steve Bunn, senior ranger, said: "It was our most popular event so far. The children loved it; they had a great time, especially pulling croc's tail. It was a really nice family day and everyone seemed to have a great time."
Families who successfully made it through the maze were given a bottle of bubbles, notepad and stickers.
Steve added: "We had lots of toddlers, but it attracted youngsters aged three right through to people in their sixties. The event really captured everyone's imagination, but then it is a great book."
