Man who died in crash identified
Police have provisionally identify a man who died following a collision in Canewdon.
Terry Coppins, 32, from Rayleigh, sadly died in hospital on Thursday, June 21, after the BMW M6 he was driving left the road in Creeksea Ferry Road at around 9.20pm on Wednesday June 20.
A 16-year-old girl also travelling in the vehicle was taken to hospital for precautionary checks.
Officers are continuing to appeal for witnesses and urge anyone with information or dash cam footage is asked to call the Serious Collision Investigations Unit on 101 quoting incident 1389 of 20/06 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
