A Southend anti-Trump march will take place next week to mirror a huge protest in London.

US president Donald Trump is set to arrive in the UK on July 13, and the Stop Trump movement has organised a huge rally in central London to voice their disapproval of his invitation from the government.

The Southend rally will meet at 2.30pm outside the Royals shopping centre, and then proceed up the High Street and Victoria Avenue to the Civic Offices, where there will be speakers.

Organisers are keen to emphasise that this will be a peaceful protest, and encourage families to attend in order to make their voices heard against the immigrant families recently divided by Trump's controversial policies.
