THREE beaver colonies took part in the annual sandcastle competition.
Youngsters at 55th Leigh, 4/6th Leigh and 8th Leigh took part in the contest, in Bell Wharf, Old Leigh.
Each beaver group had 30 minutes to construct the best sandcastle and the entries were then judged.
The youngsters then had a hot dog and a drink.
They also all received a certificate for taking part.
The winners this year was 55th Leigh and they were awarded a trophy, along with their leader Andy Britt.
Leigh Scout Fellowship is always looking for new active members to join them.
