BILLERICAY Town continued their preparations for the National League South campaign with a resounding win in Northern Ireland.

Town claimed an 8-0 victory over the Belfast-based St. James' Swifts.

With 12 minutes on the clock, Ricky Modeste headed home a Callum Kennedy cross.

Kennedy, who has joined the club from AFC Wimbledon during the close season, was the provider once again as Adam Coombes' volley found the target.

Emmanuel extended Billericay's lead further before Jamie O'Hara saw his penalty saved.

But the visitors were to go in at the break 4-0 up thanks to Joe Kizzi getting his name on the scoresheet.

Jake Howells and Adam Cunnington found the back of the net in the space of two second half minutes, while Danny Waldren and Tambeson Eyong completed the scoring at Donegal Celtic Park.
