Is this discrimination of the disabled or elderly, both of which I am?
Both Currys and Additions home shopping refused to deliver a fridge/freezer to my first floor flat as there is no lift.
After ordering and paying for this item, both companies gave delivery dates then refused to deliver, using the Health and Safety Act as a reason.
One carrier stated he was only allowed to climb four steps.
Five weeks on - no fridge/freezer!
