It appears, despite a great deal of public opposition, Southend Council is intent on closing the Readers' Digest restaurant in Southend Library.
I have been a regular user and enjoyed good food at reasonable prices over many years.
If a new catering facility is installed and it does prosper it will not be because of my patronage, I will not be a customer as a matter of principle.
