WHEN Greg Fedden nervously unfolded his GCSE exam results yesterday, a broad grin broke across his face as he realised he had done better than he dreamed he would.
The 16-year-old Beauchamps High School student picked up an impressive 10 A grades, including eight A*s and a distinction for information technology.
Greg said he was thrilled with the grades, which had come as a pleasant surprise.
He explained: "I was just hoping to pass everything and, well, get As in everything. I'm really happy with this."
Greg, of Berberis Close, Langdon Hills, studied history, geography, business, English, maths and science.
He said he now plans to go to Seevic College, Thundersley, where he will carry on studying business and history.
He added "I tried my best and am really happy.
"I was really nervous before exams, but I overcame it by doing lots of revision."
