A man who noticed his milk was being nicked from his doorstep discovered the culprit after checking his CCTV - a cheeky FOX.

Antony Neale, 55, noticed his daily dairy deliveries were disappearing and decided to review footage from a camera pointed at his door.

It was then that he realised he was the victim of a cunning thief fox roaming the streets - who struck again just days later.

Antony now makes sure to grab the milk as soon as gets up to stop the fox pinching his supply.

He said: "I've had the cameras for years, just so I can keep an eye on the property.

''As it's plastic bottles it's easier [for the fox] to pick up. Now it knows it can, it's coming back."

Builder Antony, from Canvey Island, Essex, said he gets an alert on his phone every time there is movement on the camera.

But he was sleeping soundly when the animal first struck at around 5am on February 24 - before returning at a similar time on March 2.

He added: "I never thought it would be a fox when I checked it. I normally pay the milkman every three to four weeks so I haven't seen him to warn him yet.

"I will be making a rack [for the milk]."
