A FALLEN tree has blocked the A127 this morning.
The tree has fallen near the Rayleigh Weir junction at around 7.25am this morning.
The tree is blocking one lane of the eastbound carriageway, and now traffic is queuing back towards the Fairglen Interchange.

There are long delays in the area and motorists are advised to avoid the road or allow extra time when travelling in the vicinity.
Update 10.50am: The incident has been cleared.
