Rylan Clark has revealed that he is out of hospital after the presenter had been unable to host his show on BBC Radio 2 for the second week in a row.

It is not yet known why Rylan was taken to hospital, but last week, he told his followers he had the flu.

The 33-year-old usually presents a three hour show on the radio from 3pm on a Saturday, where he interviews guests and plays music.

Sharing a picture of his arm fitted with a cannula on his Twitter account, the star confirmed that he was “on the mend”.

He wrote: “Finally home after an extended trip to Costa del hospital. Slowly on the mend.

“Won’t be on the wireless tomorrow. Resting up. Be back soon."

Rylan's fans wished him well after seeing the post, encouraging him to take it easy.

One wrote: "Ooh not fun wishing you a speedy recovery!"

Another posted: "All love to you Rylan. Have a good rest, relax and whenever you come back to entertain us, you'll bring happiness, kindness and fun, as always."

"HUGE hugs to you lovely. You are genuinely one of the sunniest most beautiful personalities on TV and I hope you feel better soon. However, you first, everything else can wait," another commented.
