THREE people have been charged in connection with the alleged sale of fake tickets and wristbands for the Isle of Wight music festival.
Paul Eves, 48, of St Mary's Road, Southend, Bradley Govier, 41, and Dawn Govier, 41, of Southend High Street, have been charged with conspiracy to defraud festival organisers.
A police operation was launched after alleged counterfeit tickets were discovered at last year's music event, headlined by the Rolling Stones.
Eves and the Goviers are to appear before Isle of Wight magistrates tomorrow (March 18).
Detectives have charged six people in connection with the alleged conspiracy, relating to a six-year period between July 1, 2001, and July 31, 2007.
