Essex Premier Cup Semi Final: Goalkeeper Nick Keys was the hero of the hour for White Ensign when he made three superb saves in the penalty shoot-out to put his team into their first Essex Premier Cup final.

Jamie Salmon had put the home side in the lead before Steve Bartlett levelled things for M & B Club with a goal in the 80th minute.

With no further goals being scored in extra time the game went to penalties and the hosts went through 3 - 1 due to the skill of their goalkeeper.

White Ensign will meet Brentwood Town who won 2 - 1 at Dedham Old Boys in the other semi-final. The final takes place at Billericay Town on 23 April.

East Ham Memorial Cup Semi-Final: Frenford Senior went out of the competition losing 2 - 1 at home to Castle United. Darren Seymour scored the Frenfords only goal.

Premier Division: In the local derby at Bishops Stortford Swifts, visitors Takeley completed the double when they beat their hosts 2 - 0 with Charlie Pollard and James Amott scoring the goals.

At the other end of the table Manford Way picked up valuable points when Danny Cooke scored both their goals in their 2 - 0 win over visitors Galleywood.

Epping dropped two points in their relegation battle when they were held to a 1 - 1 draw by Mountnessing. Barry Fox scored for the visitors with Glenn Shurety scoring for Epping.

Harold Wood Athletic had their first league win since September when they beat visitors Frenford Senior 2 - 1. Danny Demetriou scored for Frenford but two goals from Steve Portway secured the points for Wood.

Benfleet travelled up the A13 to Canning Town and despite a home goal from Ashley Neville-Richards took home the points from a 2 - 1 victory thanks to goals from Darren Godfrey and Will Radcliffe.

Senior Division One: Roydon reversed the December result against high flying visitors Ongar Town and won 3 - 2. Ben Polley scored both goals for Ongar but a brace from Vaughn Affonso and a Jose Fernandez strike secured the home side the points.

This defeat saw Potter Street move eight points clear after they won 2 - 1 at Leigh Ramblers. Barry Walker scored for Leigh while Mickey Kennedy and Ryan Williams scored for the visitors.

Bottom club Stambridge United secured their first league win of the season beating visitors Leytonstone United 3 - 2. Paul Woods and Ian Dancer scored for Leytonstone while Ben Lee struck twice and Oliver Baker once for Stambridge.

Michael Crouch scored for Ryan F.C. on their visit to Springfield but only gained a point from a 1 - 1 draw after Mick Duke had scored from the penalty spot for Springfield.

Rayleigh Towns slender promotion hopes took a knock after Andrew Reeves scored both the goals in visitors Old Chelmsfordians 2 - 0 win.

In a close game at Faces F.C. it was the home side who finally ran out 3 - 2 winners over Herongate Athletic. Daniel Hipgrave and James Ellaway scored for Athletic but two goals from Abraham Mahmood and a Wayne Power singleton gave Faces F.C. the points.

Senior Division Two: Its taken twenty one match but Shenfield A.F.C. have finally gained a league point after they held visitors Upminster to a 2 - 2 draw. Dean Peck and Louis Elwood scored for Upminster but it was goals from Cameron Curle and Robbie Lynn that gained that all important point for Shenfield.

The top two sides both won away from home.

Nick Judd, James Dwyer and Joe Dimmock scored the goals as top of the table Linford Wanderers won 3 - 0 at Metpol Chigwell while second placed Hannakins Farm had the biggest win of the day when they travelled to Barnston and won 6 - 1. Graeme Turner scored for the hosts with Keith Cane hitting four and Elliott Vile, and substitute Bobby Maybe getting one each.

Third placed Writtle slipped up at Runwell Hospital going down 3 - 2. Ally Hutchinson scored twice for the visitors while goals from Matt Baker, Ross Ennis and Adam Green won the points for Runwell.

Westhamians completed the league double over Basildon Town with a 2 - 1 away win. Danny Cox scored for Basildon but goals from Tom Morris and Rob Howe secured the visitors the points.

Danny Childs struck twice and Ainsley Shaw once as Newham United won 3 - 1 at Ramsden whose goal came from Matt Dodd.

In the Chelmsford derby it was hosts Broomfield who won 3 - 1 against Great Baddow. Matthew Fraser scored for Baddow but a brace from Alex Grimsey and Nigel Warren goal gave the points for Broomfield Reserve Division One: Ryan F.C. failed to move clear of relegation problems after a single goal from Tshabalala gave visitors Manford Way a 1 - 0 win.

Bottom club Bishops Stortford Swifts suffered a 2 - 1 defeat at Galleywood. Zack Anoak scored for Swift but a goal each from Luke Taylor and Liam Jubb gave Galleywood the points.

Rayleigh Town travelled to Old Chelmsfordians and took home a point from a 2 - 2 draw. Veteran John Edwards and Josh Hart scored for Town with Chris Smith and Ashley Baptiste scoring for O.C.'s Reserve Division Two: Bottom club Herongate Athletic played host to Ramsden and went down 4 - 0 after two goals from Mark Harrison and one each from Brad Sutton and Adam Wylie.

Also scoring four were Hutton at home to Hannakins Farm. Brett Marsh scored for the visitors with the Hutton goals coming from Richard Brown, Chris Pryor and two from Chris Shiret in the 4 - 1 win.

The matches between Mountnessing and Metpol Chigwell and Takeley and Kelvedon Hatch both ended as 0 - 0 draws.

Reserve Division Three: After Leigh Ramblers secure the top spot last week the battle is on for the remaining promotion place.

Second placed Benfleet played host to third placed Newham United and it was the home side who ran out 2 ‑ 1 winners. Jamie Webster scored for United but goals from Dan Astley and Rocky Sivell moved Benfleet three points clear.

Defeat for Leytonstone United when they travelled to Sandon Royals and went down 4 - 1 secured their bottom place in the division. Didier Evans scored for United with Chris Cottis striking twice and James Ramsey and Tom Orange once for Royals.

Two goals from Kenny Liddiard for Westhamians gave them a point against visitors Broomfield whose goals came from Lee Howell and Chris Woodhatch in the 2 - 2 draw.
