Walking down Clay Hill Road, Basildon recently, I witnessed a young lady, on a cycle, go flying over her handlebars as she went into a big pothole. Thank God, she was not badly hurt.
It's time those responsible for repairing roads realised potholes can be deadly for those who cycle.
