If you’ve ever thought that you would make the perfect checkout voice, now is your chance to prove it.
As supermarket giant Tesco has announced they are holding auditions in a bid for a member of the public to become the new voice of their checkout.
And the lucky winner will not only become the voice of Tesco supermarkets but will also be in with the chance to win up to 10,000 Clubcard points.
The competition was announced on the brand's TikTok page, marking its first post on the popular social media platform.

Audition tapes are already flying in under the hashtag with many getting praise and opinions from shoppers.

In previous years the voice of the self-checkout was British actress Helena Breck who appeared on EastEnders and was previously the voice of both Sainsbury’s and Asda before recordings were changed in 2015.
