TV star Rylan Clark has hinted he has found love once again in a lighthearted post on Twitter.

The presenter, who grew up in Stanford-le-Hope, joked he is in a “relationship” with Brentwood Council due to the regularity of texts the authority sends him.

The messages, shown in a Tweet, are reminders sent out by the council every Friday prompting residents to put their waste out for collection.

Four of those texts were shared by Rylan, 34, accompanied by the words: “This is the most I’ve been in a relationship for a while tbf.”

Having spotted his lighthearted Tweet, Brentwood Council responded “same time next week”, with wink and kissing face emojis.

Despite his hectic schedule, Rylan responded with laughing faces and a heart.

The 34-year-old has recently admitted to have struggled with his mental health since splitting from husband Dan Neal in 2021.

Rylan said he was “really in a bad way” and took a long break from social media.

But fans were delighted when he returned after a pause of more than five months, Tweeting: “So…. What did I miss?”.
