A south Essex road is set to close for one week for roadworks this month with "delays likely".
Essex County Council will be carrying out ground investigation works at Dunton Wayletts Bridge from October 9.
A week-long road closure will be in place in part of Dunton Road for the duration of the works.
It will be shut near Billericay Town Colts Football Club. The map below shows the location of the closure.

An Essex Highways spokesman said: "Ground investigation works will take place at Dunton Wayletts Bridge located on Dunton Road, Billericay, from Monday October 9 for one week.
"A road closure will be in place for the duration. Please follow the diversion."
