Severe congestion is being reported on the A127 this morning, approaching the M25.
Delays are being reported as more than ten minutes for drivers moving eastbound on the busy road, with slow traffic worsening rush hour issues.
AA Traffic Map reports: "Delays of nine minutes and delays increasing on A127 Southend Arterial Road Westbound between A128 Tilbury Road Halfway House roundabout and M25 J29 Romford / Basildon.
"Average speed 20 mph."
