THIEVES hooked a set of keys from a workshop and used them to steal a BMW car.
The BMW 318, worth £1,200, was stolen from outside Quick Fit, in Rectory Grove, Leigh, The silver H-reg car, had been left there to have some work carried out.
Police spokesman Julia Pack said: “We would like to remind drivers not to drop car keys through letter boxes. It may be convenient, but thieves know about this too.
“You should make other arrangements with the garage.”
