AN MP and a councillor took part in a pyjama party to help support Children in Need.
John Baron, MP for Billericay, joined Billericay west councillor, Tony Hedley at Goldcrest Day Nursery, in Mons Avenue.
Children were sponsored to wear their pyjamas all week to help raise money for the charity.
A name the teddy bear and a Pudsey bear colouring competition were judged by Mr Baron. The fun and games have so far raised £63 for the appeal.
Mr Baron said: “It’s great to be able to support Children in Need fundraising which does such a lot of good.
“Congratulations to the nursery for putting it on and for providing such excellent care.”
