THE Lunar Pilots touch down at Bar Lambs, Westcliff, on Friday night.
Five guys hailing from Essex and Cambridge, they play original indie pop, but also have the ability to blast-off into a frantic rock-out when the tune demands it.
The quintet’s songs have moments of piano, subtly fitting comfortably alongside danceable high-tempo guitars, backed by an interstellar driving rhythm section, which defines their unique Lunar sound.
Support comes from Anthony Love and Reissue and entry is £5. Doors at the Station Road venue open at 8.30pm. For more information, visit www.barlambs. co.uk
